General Terms
Derby Bearings Ltd reserves the right to accept or decline any order placed via this website.
Submitting an order constitutes a legal offer by you, the customer, to purchase goods from us.
By placing an order, you confirm that:
a) You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts;
b) You are at least 18 years of age.
Orders are not considered accepted until payment has been successfully received and we have reviewed and approved the transaction.
Payment and Invoicing
Prices listed exclude VAT. For customers within the EU, VAT is charged at the prevailing rate (currently 20%).
Payment is required at the point of order unless you hold a pre-authorised credit account with us.
An invoice will be issued upon receipt of payment. This may be sent via email or included with your delivery.
We accept payments via Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, American Express, Solo and PayPal.
Returns and Refunds
Items may be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided they are in original, unused condition and returned with the original packaging.
We are unable to issue refunds for items that have been used or returned in a damaged state, unless the item is faulty.
If an exchange is requested, the original delivery charges are non-refundable, and new shipping costs will apply.
Refunds cover the item value including VAT, excluding shipping unless the return is due to an error on our part.
Refunds will be issued using the same method used for the original payment.
For business-to-business returns, a 25% restocking fee may apply unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Pricing Policy
Product prices may be changed without prior notification due to manufacturer cost adjustments.
While we take care to ensure accuracy, pricing errors may occur. If a product is listed at an incorrect price:
We will either confirm the correct price with you before proceeding or cancel the order and inform you accordingly.
Delivery and Responsibility
Shipping charges are displayed during checkout and are subject to change. Any updates will not affect orders already placed.
We aim to dispatch goods promptly, but we cannot be held liable for delays caused by courier services.
Orders sent via standard Royal Mail are at the customer's risk; lost items are not covered.
Any missing or damaged goods must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
Derby Bearings Ltd accepts no liability for indirect losses, including loss of earnings, injury, or costs resulting from defective items.
Order cancellations are at our discretion. Any associated costs, including loss of profit or processing charges, must be covered by the customer.
Goods will be delivered to the address you provide, and a signature may be required upon receipt.
Heavy items may only be delivered to ground-floor locations for safety reasons.
Once goods are delivered, ownership transfers to you, and you assume responsibility for them.

While we strive to maintain sufficient inventory, supply may vary.
If an item is unavailable, we may offer a suitable alternative or issue a refund or credit within 30 days.
